Making a boot disk. Here we will work on making a DOS boot disk. You can use this boot disk to start your computer for imaging. And use it to boot your computer to restore an image from a removable media, like a CD. For a basic quick boot disk, a Win98 disk will get you going. You can copy Ghost to the boot disk. Or just keep a copy of Ghost on another HD or floppy. You can get a boot disk from "Bootdisk.com". Or put a blank floppy in your drive, and format it with system files. Use windows explorer, right click on the floppy drive, and select "format with system files". That's it; you will have a boot disk. Now add your copy of Ghost. If you plan to use a CD drive in DOS then boot disk will need CD DOS drivers. If you have the DOS drivers for your CD drive use those, other wise the OAK driver may work. You can use this file to make your own custom boot disk. If you have Ghost PE, some of the options will not work. But for what we will be doing it will work. test the floppy, and modify the lines if need be. if your BIOS supports booting from CD, then you can leave that early 90's floppy and jump in to the thousands with a bootable CD.
