My main system is custom built by me. It has an Abit BP6 dual celeron MB. Two 366 MHz Celerons over clocked to 550 each, for a total of 1.1 Ghz total CPU power. To keep the CPUs cool I use Alpha coolers. I use filters to keep dust and dirt out of the case.
Here are some pictures of my system. You can click to enlarge. In these pictures you will see the venting and sound absorbing matting I used to silence the 7 fans that help to cool this beast. This computer with 7 fans is quieter then one of my other systems with only 2 fans. This is a picture of the sound absorbing venting material I used. It directs the exhaust of the CPU fans out the back. it also sucks air away from the drive bays. This picture shows the system with out the venting. If you look at the back panel you will note the black sound absorbing material. This covers the whole side panel. Also take note of the chipset fan, the exhaust fan on the back, and a filtered fan on the lower front. This is the other side panel. It too has sound absorbing matting, and a filter over the vents. |
